Ismael Cifuentes Carvajal

My name is Ismael Xavier Cifuentes Carvajal, and I am a Computer Science student at Yachay Tech University in Ecuador. I joined AI in STEM because I believe artificial intelligence should be accessible to everyone and that early exposure to technology can inspire the next generation of innovators. Through my leadership experience in IEEE, I have worked on promoting STEM education, research and technology outreach initiatives, especially among students who are beginning their journey in science and engineering. As President of the IEEE Yachay Tech Student Branch, I am passionate about creating learning opportunities that connect students with emerging technologies and global communities. Fun fact: I have helped establish multiple IEEE technical chapters at my university and enjoy turning ideas into educational projects that create real impact.
