Our Mission
AI in STEM is a youth-centered nonprofit committed to ensuring that every student, regardless of background or access to resources, has the opportunity to explore and shape the future of artificial intelligence and machine learning. We hope to close the gap between AI's ever-growing prevalence across the world and the students in underserved communities who may never get the chance to apply it to their own circumstances.
Through free educational resources, dedicated mentorship, and a global community of support, we teach students both a conceptual foundation in AI and the innovative thinking needed to apply it, guiding them through hands-on projects targeted towards addressing the various everyday problems these diverse communities face.
Rather than bringing in outside solutions, AI in STEM helps equip local students with the skills needed to support their communities and take on the challenges they face firsthand. In doing so, we expand access to AI/ML education while empowering the next generation to shape how AI is developed and utilized worldwide along the way!
