Report Overview
In our third meeting together, AI in STEM met virtually with representatives from Bright Path Vision for a training session and introduction to AI in STEM's environmental sustainability curriculum. The meeting focused on preparing BPV mentors to host sessions based on our curriculum for their students, in Nairobi and other cities across Kenya! During the session, AI in STEM leaders walked through the full range of instructional slide formats used in the curriculum, explaining how each type supports student understanding, engagement, and discussion. Additional teaching resources and facilitation guidance were shared so BPV mentors could make any adjustments to the curriculum where they see fit. The meeting concluded with alignment on next steps, enabling Bright Path Vision to begin hosting these workshops that introduce students to technological concepts through the lens of environmental sustainability, and soon other topics from AI in STEM!
